TOGETHER, STILL
Choreographers: Alexander Olivieri & Gildas Lemonnier
Music: “Take the Thorn, Leave the Rose” by Ana Roxanne ; “It’s Not Enough” by The Black Dog ; “I do” by Andrea Gibson
Sound Design: Alexander Olivieri
Together, Still explores the poetry of Andrea Gibson, an award-winning poet and spoken word artist whose work illuminates love, loss, identity, and the urgent call for justice. Gibson blends tenderness with conviction, both deeply personal and unapologetically political. Their poem “I do” is both a love vow and a declaration of resilience. It celebrates intimacy and play while honoring vulnerability, mortality, and the strength found in community. The dance does not seek to illustrate the poem, but to move alongside it: to echo, to expand, and to create space for love in all forms, not as spectacle, but as presence: ordinary, extraordinary, and deeply human.
TRINE
TRINE embodies the elemental harmony of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn on the Zodiacal Wheel. Linked by the earth element, these three signs form a 120° trine—an astrological aspect symbolizing ease, resonance, and enduring connection.
Through a landscape of grounded movement and sculptural partnering, the dance reveals the unique qualities while tracing their shared terrain. Taurus offers weight, sensuality, and patience—movement rooted in presence and touch. Virgo emerges in precision, detail, and articulation—gestures refined, almost etched into space. Capricorn channels endurance, structure, and ambition—lines that climb, stack, and hold with authority.
At once intimate and monumental, TRINE is a meditation on resonance. Orbits and intersections, the trio merges into a seamless continuum: stability meeting adaptability, strength softening into care, and form expanding into possibility.

APOPHIS
In collaboration with Sheri Hayden
This work explores the impacts of the Apophis asteroid striking earth. On land, a huge amount of dust would be thrown up into the atmosphere. If Apophis hits water, there would be an increase in water vapor in the atmosphere. This would result in an increase in landslides, mudslides, earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes. The risk of impact in 2029 has been ruled out.
