AO art is an interdisciplinary arts organization and performance company that explores the intersections between dance, film, installation, and photography. Founder and artistic director, Alexander Petit Olivieri is a queer dancer, filmmaker and educator, split between New York City, Seattle, and Oklahoma City. They are currently an Assistant Professor of Dance at the University of Central Oklahoma and are a graduate of University of Washington with an MFA in Dance.

I savor wondering, cultivating a deeper knowing of the world. I defend the meta-morphic powers of dancing for mind-body connection and the culture-building strength that it has for different people. I believe that we bridge connections through deep listening, sensing and feeling through practices of artistic exploration, care and vulnerability.
